Zinc ingot prices in China climbed to USD 3,969/tonne, up 29.0% year on year, as inventories fell and smelter output tightened.

Zinc ingot prices in China stood at USD 3,969/tonne as of 2026-09-04, up 1.6% from USD 3,905/tonne on 2026-08-28. The monthly change was +6.5% from USD 3,727/tonne on 2026-08-05, the quarterly change was +8.5% from USD 3,656/tonne on 2026-06-05 and the year change was +29.0% from USD 3,076/tonne on 2025-09-04. The 52-week high was USD 4,009/tonne on 2026-09-01 and the 52-week low was USD 3,036/tonne on 2025-09-29.

Shanghai Metals Market reported on 2026-09-03 that China's zinc ingot export window opened in July and remained active through August and September, supported by favorable arbitrage against the London Metal Exchange.
