White cardboard in China was quoted at USD 611.20/tonne as of 2026-09-03, down 0.7% from USD 615.55/tonne on 2026-08-27. The month change was -1.0%, from USD 617.45/tonne on 2026-08-04, while the quarter change was -0.0% from USD 611.42/tonne on 2026-06-05. Year on year, the price is up 1.9% from USD 599.90/tonne on 2025-09-03.
Over the past 52 weeks, the commodity reached a high of USD 638.87/tonne on 2026-03-11 and a low of USD 599.90/tonne on 2025-09-03.
Supply-side data from Mysteel shows domestic white paperboard factory inventories decreased by 1.9万 tonnes as of August 6, 2026. Mysteel also reported that white paperboard production rose by 0.65 percent month-on-month in July 2026, and that the average national market price for 250-400g white paperboard rose 0.88 percent month-on-month in July 2026.
Paper mills maintained stable operating rates without centralized maintenance in late August 2026, according to Mysteel. Separately, Claight market monitoring shows China white paperboard imports fell by 1.91 percent month-on-month in June 2026.
