Claight market monitoring shows daily shipments via the Daqin Railway dropped below 800,000 tonnes amid high replacement costs, and coal inventories at nine major northern ports fell by 11 percent from recent highs.

On the demand side, Mysteel reported on 2026-09-04 that non-power industry demand from metallurgy and chemical sectors provided a price floor at production sites.
