TDI Price in China Rises 0.8% Week-on-Week to USD 2,490/tonne

TDI in China was quoted at USD 2,490/tonne as of 2026-09-03, an increase of 0.8% from USD 2,470/tonne on 2026-08-27. The monthly change stands at -3.2%, from USD 2,571/tonne on 2026-08-04. Over the quarter the price is up 13.8%, from USD 2,188/tonne on 2026-06-05, and over the year it is up 24.7%, from USD 1,997/tonne on 2025-09-03. The 52-week high is USD 2,992/tonne on 2026-04-10 and the 52-week low is USD 1,881/tonne on 2025-09-10.
On the supply side, Wanhua Chemical raised its TDI ex-factory offers three times in July, totalling over 1,700 yuan/ton, as reported by ChemNet. Claight market monitoring shows that Wanhua Chemical shut down its 300,000-ton/year TDI unit for annual maintenance starting August 11.
Further maintenance is scheduled in China. According to ChemNet, Gansu Yinguang's 150,000-ton/year TDI plant is set to shut down for maintenance starting September 12.
On costs, ChemNet reported on 2026-07-31 that geopolitical tensions in the Middle East increased global logistics and raw material costs, triggering price hikes.
