Soybean No. 1 in China was quoted at USD 745.50/tonne on 2026-09-04, an increase of 1.4% from USD 735.32/tonne on 2026-08-28. Over the month the price rose 6.1% from USD 702.97/tonne on 2026-08-05, and over the quarter it rose 7.0% from USD 696.90/tonne on 2026-06-05. Year on year the gain is 34.3%, from USD 555.27/tonne on 2025-09-04. The 52-week high stands at USD 747.26/tonne on 2026-08-21 and the 52-week low at USD 545.29/tonne on 2025-09-23.

According to CMB News, China purchased roughly 1 million tonnes of U.S. soybeans on July 31 to tighten fourth-quarter supply.

Mysteel reports that Sinograin sold 1.5744 million tonnes of imported soybeans in reserve auctions between July 31 and August 26. Mysteel also reported a new sale of 136,000 metric tons of new-crop soybeans to China on September 1, according to USDA figures.

Mysteel further reported that U.S. soybean good-to-excellent crop ratings fell to 58% as of August 31, down from 65% a year ago.
