Rapeseed Meal Price in China Flat at USD 364.83/tonne

Rapeseed meal in China was quoted at USD 364.83/tonne on 2026-10-01, according to Claight market monitoring. The price was unchanged on the week, up from USD 364.69/tonne on 2026-09-24. Month on month it fell 0.1% from USD 365.06/tonne on 2026-09-01.

Over the quarter the price rose 5.0% from USD 347.42/tonne on 2026-07-03, and it sits 2.4% above the USD 356.29/tonne recorded on 2025-10-01. The 52-week high is USD 407.74/tonne, set on 2026-03-13, and the 52-week low is USD 338.17/tonne, set on 2025-10-22.

Supply conditions have shifted over the period. In March 2026 China lifted anti-dumping duties on Canadian rapeseed meal while maintaining a 5.9% duty on rapeseed, facilitating a recovery in supply. Blooming Global and Claight report that Black Sea logistics disruptions have restricted sunflower meal imports to China, increasing alternative demand for rapeseed meal.

Claight market monitoring shows rapeseed inventories at major coastal oil plants decreased by 19,000 tonnes to 422,800 tonnes as of September 11, 2026. Blooming Global and Claight also note that the price spread between soybean meal and rapeseed meal reached 1,091 RMB per ton on September 15, 2026, above the five-year average.
