Polyamide FDY in China was priced at USD 2,574/tonne as of 2026-09-04, a weekly rise of 1.8% from USD 2,529/tonne on 2026-08-28. The monthly change stands at 5.3% from USD 2,444/tonne on 2026-08-05, the quarterly change at 5.6% from USD 2,439/tonne on 2026-06-05, and the year change at 23.4% from USD 2,087/tonne on 2025-09-04. The 52-week high of USD 2,901/tonne was recorded on 2026-03-10 and the 52-week low of USD 1,989/tonne on 2025-11-05.
According to CCFGroup, caprolactam plants including Luxi, Shenma and Lubao implemented production cuts or full shutdowns in early July 2026, removing approximately 400kt/year of capacity from the market. CCFGroup also reported that maintenance schedules at key facilities including Lunan, Shenma and Yangmei drove tighter raw material supply in August 2026.
