The monthly move is smaller, at +0.4% from USD 2,187/tonne on 2026-09-01, while the quarter shows a rise of 17.2% from USD 1,873/tonne on 2026-07-03. Year on year, the price is up 8.0% from USD 2,032/tonne on 2025-10-01.
The 52-week high stands at USD 2,456/tonne, recorded on 2026-03-11, and the 52-week low at USD 1,844/tonne on 2026-02-04.
Supply conditions in China have tightened. Large PC production plants including Wanhua Chemical and Luxi Chemical underwent maintenance or reduced operating loads in September 2026, lowering industry capacity utilization to 75.01% [1][2][3]. Domestic PC industry capacity utilization fell by 2.77 percentage points in September 2026 compared with the previous month due to plant outages and load adjustments [3].
