PAC Price in China Steady at USD 264.67/tonne
PAC prices in China held almost unchanged over the week while the year-on-year rise reached 11.6%.
PAC in China was quoted at USD 264.67/tonne as of 2026-09-03, a weekly change of +0.0% from USD 264.62/tonne on 2026-08-27. Over the month the price moved up +0.5% from USD 263.32/tonne on 2026-08-04.
The quarterly move was -1.2%, down from USD 267.78/tonne on 2026-06-05. On a yearly basis the price rose +11.6% from USD 237.21/tonne on 2025-09-03, which is also the 52-week low. The 52-week high stands at USD 268.14/tonne, recorded on 2026-06-16.
Cost conditions in China tightened through August. The National Bureau of Statistics reported on 2026-08-31 that manufacturing input prices rose significantly in August, driven by higher crude oil and nonferrous metal costs. The Edge for Economic Consultancy reported on 2026-08-24 that the share of monitored industrial production inputs rising in price increased from 24 percent to 66 percent between early and mid-August.
