Nylon DTY prices in China stood at USD 2,491/tonne as of 2026-09-03, unchanged from USD 2,491/tonne on 2026-08-27. The commodity is up 4.4% over the month from USD 2,387/tonne on 2026-08-04 and up 5.1% over the quarter from USD 2,371/tonne on 2026-06-05. Year on year, the price has risen 24.3% from USD 2,004/tonne on 2025-09-03.
Over the past 52 weeks, the price reached a high of USD 2,757/tonne on 2026-03-10 and a low of USD 1,903/tonne on 2025-11-05.
Supply-side developments have shaped the market in recent months. According to CCFGroup, caprolactam plants including Luxi, Shenma, and Lubao reduced or suspended production in July, impacting 400,000 tons of capacity.
Claight market monitoring shows that nylon filament producers increased prices in response to rising caprolactam costs, with DTY rising from 16,120 to 16,420 RMB/ton, according to a report dated 2026-08-22.
