N-propanol prices in China stood at USD 1,109/tonne as of 2026-09-03, a rise of 2.8% from USD 1,079/tonne on 2026-08-27. The month change was 2.6%, from USD 1,081/tonne on 2026-08-04, and the quarter change was 2.8%, from USD 1,079/tonne on 2026-06-05. Compared with a year earlier, the price is up 14.8% from USD 965.63/tonne on 2025-09-03.

Feedstock costs moved higher after unplanned maintenance at Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical and Zhong Tian He Chuang Energy reduced propylene supply, increasing propylene costs by 4.88% during the week of August 21, 2026, according to ChemAnalyst. Claight market monitoring shows downstream demand for n-propanol improved in late August on periodic restocking ahead of the Golden September peak season.

Earlier in the period, Claight market monitoring shows Shandong n-propanol prices trended downward by approximately 2.74% during the first ten days of August, due to sluggish downstream demand and ample supply.
