Manganese Silicon Price in China Rises 1.3% to USD 870.06/tonne

Manganese silicon in China was priced at USD 870.06/tonne as of 2026-09-03, up 1.3% on the week from USD 858.59/tonne on 2026-08-27. The price has gained 7.7% over the month, from USD 807.58/tonne on 2026-08-04, and 2.2% over the quarter from USD 851.36/tonne on 2026-06-05. Year on year, the price is up 10.0% from USD 790.97/tonne on 2025-09-03. Over the past 52 weeks, the commodity traded between a low of USD 764.86/tonne on 2025-11-21 and a high of USD 899.10/tonne on 2026-03-30.

According to Mysteel, China's national silicomanganese output fell by 4.7% in August 2026 to 728,080 tonnes, the lowest level since May 2024.

Shanghai Metals Market (SMM) reported that chemical coke prices in China advanced through successive increases during August 2026, raising production costs for silicomanganese.

Claight market monitoring shows that a major plant in Ningxia resumed production in the week of August 17, 2026, contributing to a marginal nationwide output increase. SMM also recorded that HBIS Group set its August 2026 silicomanganese tender price at 5,880 yuan/mt, representing a decline from July.
