Hydrogen Peroxide Price in China Rises 1.1% to USD 92.77/tonne
Weekly and monthly gains come against a quarter-on-quarter decline, with capacity additions and a maintenance shutdown shaping supply.
Hydrogen peroxide prices in China stood at USD 92.77/tonne as of 2026-09-03, up 1.1% from USD 91.76/tonne a week earlier. The price has risen 3.3% over the month from USD 89.83/tonne on 2026-08-04. Over the quarter it is down 4.4% from USD 97.06/tonne on 2026-06-05, and over the year it is down 5.7% from USD 98.43/tonne on 2025-09-03.
The recent recovery follows a low of USD 85.53/tonne recorded on 2026-08-18. The 52-week high stands at USD 181.32/tonne from 2026-04-28.
According to Claight market monitoring, Anhui Guotai shut down its 250,000-ton hydrogen peroxide unit for maintenance on August 18, 2026, causing a temporary supply contraction. On the supply expansion side, Claight market monitoring shows Guizhou Kaidisen commissioned new 300,000-ton production capacity in July 2026, contributing to market oversupply. Fuhua commenced operations at a new 200,000-ton industrial-grade plant in Leshan on June 18, 2026, according to Evonik.
Chang Chun Chemical completed a technical upgrade increasing electronic-grade hydrogen peroxide capacity from 60,000 to 86,400 tons per year, according to Claight market monitoring.
