Hydrogen peroxide in China rose to USD 106.39/tonne on 2026-10-01, up 14.7% over the month as operating rates and downstream procurement increased.
Hydrogen peroxide prices in China stood at USD 106.39/tonne as of 2026-10-01, a weekly rise of 0.6% from USD 105.77/tonne on 2026-09-24. The monthly change is +14.7%, from USD 92.73/tonne on 2026-09-01, and the quarterly change is +8.2%, from USD 98.31/tonne on 2026-07-03. Year on year, the price is up 0.6% from USD 105.81/tonne on 2025-10-01.
The 52-week high is USD 181.32/tonne, set on 2026-04-28, and the 52-week low is USD 85.53/tonne, set on 2026-08-18.
According to Zhuochuang Information, large-scale hydrogen peroxide plants including Jiangsu Jia Hong, Hubei Huaqiang, Dongyangguang, and Qixiang Tengda raised operating rates in September. The national average operating rate reached 72.93% by September 15, 2026, up 5 percentage points from September 7.
Zhuochuang Information also reported that caprolactam producers shifted to profitability in late August, leading to increased procurement of hydrogen peroxide in September, and that downstream customers accelerated purchases in mid-September to stockpile ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays. Claight market monitoring shows paper mills increased procurement in September to mark the start of the traditional peak season for pulp bleaching.
