Guar in India was quoted at USD 527.53/tonne as of 2026-09-01, an increase of 10.1% from USD 479.11/tonne on 2026-08-01. The quarter change stands at 37.9%, up from USD 382.66/tonne on 2026-06-01. Year on year, the price is 4.7% lower than the USD 553.58/tonne recorded on 2025-09-01.

Over the past 52 weeks, guar reached a high of USD 654.16/tonne on 2025-12-01 and a low of USD 379.45/tonne on 2026-05-01.

According to CMB News, Rajasthan guar acreage is estimated to be 10% lower at 22.35 lakh hectares, as reported on 2026-08-31. CMB News also reported on 2026-08-07 that old-crop stocks are at seasonal exhaustion in key Rajasthan and Gujarat hubs.

In further reporting dated 2026-09-07, CMB News said Brent crude oil prices around 95-96 USD per barrel are boosting oilfield demand, and that stockists have slowed selling of physical seed supplies to the market.
