Ethyl Acetate Price in China Climbs 1.9% to USD 1,028/tonne
The Chinese ethyl acetate market continued its run higher this week amid cost increases and supply constraints.
Ethyl acetate was priced at USD 1,028/tonne in China as of 2026-09-30, up 1.9% from USD 1,009/tonne on 2026-09-23. Over the month the price has risen 18.4%, from USD 868.09/tonne on 2026-08-31. Across the quarter it is up 23.9%, from USD 829.77/tonne on 2026-07-02, and over twelve months it has gained 35.8%, from USD 757.07/tonne recorded on 2025-09-30.
Cost-side pressures have driven much of the upward trend. Acetic acid prices climbed 35.39% during September, lifting feedstock costs for producers [1].
