Epoxy resin prices in China stood at USD 2,319/tonne as of 2026-10-01, a decline of 0.5% from USD 2,331/tonne on 2026-09-24. The monthly move remains positive at +9.4%, from USD 2,120/tonne on 2026-09-01, and the quarter change stands at +14.4%, from USD 2,028/tonne on 2026-07-03. Compared with 2025-10-01, when the price was USD 2,060/tonne, the year change is +12.6%. The 52-week high is USD 2,856/tonne, recorded on 2026-03-17, and the 52-week low is USD 1,902/tonne, recorded on 2025-11-20.

Cost-side support built earlier in the period. Claight market monitoring shows propylene prices increased 11.77% by September 11, 2026, driven by rising crude oil costs and geopolitical tensions, strengthening cost support for epichlorohydrin. SCI99 reported that liquid epoxy resin prices in China rose for seven consecutive trading days, reaching 16,125 CNY/ton by September 11, 2026, reflecting a tightening near-term supply-demand balance.

Pressure later turned the other way. ChemPriceHub reported that epoxy resin market prices experienced a slight decline by September 20, 2026, as downstream demand remained limited and raw material epichlorohydrin costs eased. Allway Chemical reported that domestic epichlorohydrin operating rates increased to approximately 48% by September 23, 2026, as rising spot availability and weak pre-holiday demand exerted downward pressure on prices.
