Claight market monitoring shows that isooctanol operating rates dropped to 71% and planned maintenance tightened spot supply, increasing DOP cost support. Hualu Hengsheng scheduled a 20-day maintenance shutdown for its isooctanol unit starting September 8.

On the other feedstock, Claight market monitoring shows phthalic anhydride prices exceeded 10,000 RMB/ton due to rising crude oil and feedstock costs, while domestic phthalic anhydride industry operating rates dropped to 58% due to multiple plant maintenance shutdowns.

ChemPriceHub reports that DOP plant capacity utilization fell to 55% during the week of September 18-24.
