DBP Price in China Climbs 3.5% to USD 1,397/tonne

DBP prices in China have risen week on week, month on month and year on year, with the latest quote at USD 1,397/tonne.

DBP prices in China stand at USD 1,397/tonne as of 2026-09-03, an increase of 3.5% from USD 1,349/tonne on 2026-08-27. The price has risen 7.0% over the month from USD 1,306/tonne on 2026-08-04 and 9.0% over the quarter from USD 1,281/tonne on 2026-06-05. Year on year, the price is up 40.2% from USD 996.18/tonne on 2025-09-03. The 52-week high of USD 1,491/tonne was reached on 2026-04-08, while the 52-week low of USD 920.98/tonne was recorded on 2025-11-20.

ChemNet reported that manufacturers increased DBP prices by 100-200 RMB/ton between August 19 and August 24. Mysteel reported that domestic DBP prices rose 45 RMB/ton between August 31 and September 4 due to cost and supply pressures.

Claight market monitoring shows that Zhejiang Hongbo New Material reduced DBP output and lowered factory quotes by 100 RMB/ton on August 26.

The latest quote remains below the 52-week high of USD 1,491/tonne set on 2026-04-08.
