Cyclohexanone Price in China Rises 1.9% to USD 1,581/tonne
Chinese cyclohexanone prices climbed for a fourth consecutive period, with the commodity up 63.2% year on year.
Cyclohexanone in China was quoted at USD 1,581/tonne as of 2026-09-29, an increase of 1.9% from USD 1,552/tonne on 2026-09-22. Over the month the price has risen 14.3% from USD 1,384/tonne on 2026-08-28, and over the quarter it has gained 37.7% from USD 1,148/tonne on 2026-07-01. Year on year the price is up 63.2% from USD 968.94/tonne on 2025-09-29.
The 52-week high stands at USD 1,598/tonne, recorded on 2026-09-21. The 52-week low of USD 872.31/tonne was set on 2025-11-17.
Supply-side developments have accompanied the rise. According to ChemPriceHub on 2026-09-24, Inner Mongolia Qinghua shut down production in mid-September. ChemPriceHub also reported on the same date that Sinopec refineries lowered pure benzene prices by 300 RMB/tonne effective September 18, a change relevant to the feedstock side of the Chinese market.
Earlier in the month, Claight market monitoring showed cyclohexanone prices in Shandong rose 5.43% between August 31 and September 2. The latest quote of USD 1,581/tonne remains below the 52-week high of USD 1,598/tonne set on 2026-09-21.
