Cottonseed oil in India was quoted at USD 1,503/tonne as of 2026-10-01, down 4.2% from USD 1,569/tonne on 2026-09-24. The month-on-month change stands at -11.2%, from USD 1,693/tonne on 2026-09-01. Over the quarter the price is down 2.9%, from USD 1,548/tonne on 2026-07-03.

The latest quote matches the 52-week low, set on 2026-10-01, and compares with the 52-week high of USD 1,731/tonne recorded on 2026-08-11.

According to CMB News, increased cottonseed arrivals from Haryana and Punjab have pressured cottonseed oil prices downward. CMB News also reported that refiner demand for cottonseed oil has softened due to comfortable inventories and slower downstream offtake, and that ICE Cotton No. 2 futures posted a decline, tempering expectations along the cotton value chain.

NCDEX Live reported on 2026-09-30 that cottonseed oil cake futures declined on the NCDEX due to a lacklustre trend in the spot market.
