Carbon Black Price in China Rises 2.6% to USD 1,361/tonne

Carbon black prices in China reached USD 1,361/tonne as of 2026-09-03, an increase of 2.6% from USD 1,326/tonne on 2026-08-27. This level matches the 52-week high, set on the same date, 2026-09-03. The 52-week low stands at USD 945.68/tonne, recorded on 2025-11-05.

The monthly and quarterly moves have been larger than the weekly one. Over the month, the price has risen 10.5%, from USD 1,232/tonne on 2026-08-04. Over the quarter, it is up 11.3%, from USD 1,222/tonne on 2026-06-05. The gain over the full year is larger again: the commodity has risen 34.3% since 2025-09-03, when it stood at USD 1,013/tonne.
