Aluminum fluoride in China reached USD 1,939/tonne on 2026-09-29, a 52-week high after a month of supply constraints and higher tender prices.
Aluminum fluoride in China was quoted at USD 1,939/tonne on 2026-09-29, up 0.9% from USD 1,922/tonne a week earlier and the 52-week high. The month change stands at 4.3% from USD 1,860/tonne on 2026-08-28, the quarter change at 5.4% from USD 1,840/tonne on 2026-07-01, and the year change at 24.7% from USD 1,555/tonne on 2025-09-29. The 52-week low was USD 1,551/tonne on 2025-10-14.
Supply conditions have been tight. Shanghai Metals Market reported on 2026-08-31 that fluorite mine safety inspections in Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Jiangxi and Fujian kept operating rates low and supply tight throughout August and September.
Downstream pricing also moved higher. Shanghai Metals Market reported on 2026-09-03 that benchmark downstream enterprises finalized September tender prices, raising aluminum fluoride transaction prices by 300-500 yuan/mt.
Trade has expanded alongside the price rise. Shanghai Metals Market reported on 2026-09-29 that China's cumulative aluminum fluoride exports reached 105,852.4 mt from January to August 2026, a 21.6% increase year-over-year.
