Adipic acid in China was quoted at USD 1,310/tonne as of 2026-09-03, an increase of 3.5% from USD 1,265/tonne on 2026-08-27. On a monthly basis the price is up 5.6% from USD 1,240/tonne on 2026-08-04, and over the quarter it has gained 5.9% from USD 1,237/tonne on 2026-06-05.
The year-on-year change stands at 26.8%, measured against USD 1,033/tonne on 2025-09-03. Over the past 52 weeks the commodity has traded between a low of USD 949.86/tonne on 2025-11-24 and a high of USD 1,606/tonne on 2026-03-12.
One development bears on Chinese supply conditions. According to Price-watch.ai on 2026-07-12, the European Union implemented definitive anti-dumping duties on Chinese adipic acid in early May 2026. The measure affects exports of the commodity produced in China and sold into the European market.
